Sea Doo 4-TEC 4 Stroke Fault Codes
After a problem has been solved, ensure to have your local dealer clear the fault(s) in the MPEM/EMS ECU using his BUDS system since the fault codes registered in the MPEM (EMS ECU) are kept even when the battery is disconnected. This will properly reset the appropriate counter(s). This will also record that the problem has been fixed in the MPEM/EMS ECU memory. Also note that if you get many fault codes at the same time, that may be due to a burnt fuse or fuses. The procedure for retrieving codes is as follows:
